    Assistant Managers assist the General Manager by managing the daily operations of the cafe to ensure company standards are maintained and continually improved.

    • Supervise up to 50 staff members to ensure a top quality service experience for our guests.
    • Provide outstanding leadership to your team
    • Establish and build positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and continued sales

    • Communicate and ensure adherence to all cafe policies and procedures

    • Perform operational activities such as inventory control, scheduling, sanitation, planning, maintaining stock, monitoring food supplies and forecast projections and ensuring product quality

    • Assist the General Manager in hiring, training, evaluating and disciplining associates

    • Act as a role model and demonstrate professional behavior with associates

    • Assist the General Manager in food cost management, analyze and understand P&L factors

    • Must work a 50-hour/week schedule that includes weekends and nights


    • A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a successful, high volume restaurant preferred
    • High School diploma or GED required
    • Steady, stable employment track record
    • Exposure to financial accountability

    • Ability to plan, motivate and influence others

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

    • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

    • Repeated walking, bending, stretching and occasional lifting of food products and supplies up to 50 pounds

    • Manual dexterity needed for computer usage, keyboarding skills

    • Able to speak clearly to provide direction to staff
